Object: Architectural design of the Office Building and laboratories facilities for the MOI

- laboratoires humides et secs et équipements pour les 7 unités: Biotechnologie marine, Océanographie chimique, Corail et génétique, Océanographie physique, Géoscience marine, Océanographie satellite/culture de perle

- amenities like oceanographic museum with mediaroom, aquarium, lecture theatre, living library, and a cafeteria
- common outdoor area with exhibition area, coral sanctuary, boat shed, gardens, walkways and parking

L'accesso all'edificio è previsto attraverso una strada pubblica sl Nord-Est dell'area diprogetto.
L'edifico principale è collegato ai laboratori e ai relativi servizi mediante una lineare architettura: un corridoio di due livelli.
Tutti i laboratori e i servizi sono strutturati in blocchi differenti ed indipendenti chiamati unità su uno o due livelli direttamente collegati con il corridoio centrale.
Le aree esterne saranno organizzate con un'area eventi, un'area a giardino e parcheggi con pergole. Le principali aree esterne saranno:
- un ingresso principale davanti all'edificio utilizzabile anche come area espositiva
- un'area verde con giardini e percorsi integrati. Il paesaggio tropicale sarà mantenuto attraverso alberature locali e arbusti tropicali
- una nuova passeggiata sul mare situata sopra la scogliera nera
- aree parcheggi ombreggiate con pergole verdi integrate
The access to the building is through the public street in project on North East side.
The head building is connected with laboratories and related facilities by a linear architecture: a corridor on two levels.
All the laboratories and facilities are located in independent and different blocks called units on one or two levels directly connected to the corridor.
The outdoor area will be organized with exposition area, gardens and parking with pergolas. The main outdoor areas will be:
- a main entrance area in front of the main building to be also used as exposition area
- a green area with gardens and integrated walkways. Tropical landscaping will be assured by using local trees and tropical bushes
- a seaside's new walk ways situated on the black big cliffs
- a shaded car parking with green integrated pergolas
