Motivazione della Giuria: "Il progetto sviluppa positivamente l'intervento di bonifica e recupero della cava interagendo, sinergicamente con l'ambiente naturale contermine individuando soluzioni che recepiscono le risorse del territorio. Ne sono esempio i vari tipi di coltivazione ipotizzate nel progetto. La soluzione proposta risolve in maniera semplice ed efficace l'effetto di mitigazione dell'attività di cava. Valida la proposta dei nuovi volumi con l'uso di materiali e forme alternative, che bene si inseriscono nel territorio circostante. La fattibilità tecnico-economica è stata ampiamente sviluppata indicando specifiche sulla quantificazione della spesa e tempi di realizzazione. E' stato apprezzato l'utilizzo dell'impianto fotovoltaico come fonte energetica rinnovabile che giustifica l'intervento anche come investimento economico a lungo termine".
Jury statement: "The project successfully developed the reclamation and restoration of quarry interacting synergistically with the natural environment by identifying neighboring solutions that incorporate local resources. Examples are the various types of cultivation assumed in the project. The proposed solution solves in a simple and effective mitigation of the impact of the quarry. Approves the proposal of the new volumes with the use of alternative materials and shapes, which fit well in the suburbs. The techno-economic feasibility was largely developed specific guidance on the quantification of the costs and lead times. It 'was appreciated the use of the photovoltaic system as a renewable energy source that justifies the intervention as a long-term economic investment "
Il recupero della cava si basa su un attento e specifico piano di bonifica che permetterà di sfruttare al meglio le risorse dell'area, favorendo la funzionalità dell'ecosistema e un adeguato inserimento paesaggistico. La matrice di progetto tiene fortemente in considerazione la morfologia esistente, fondamentale per l'introduzione delle nuove funzioni. Si è scelto di lasciare gran parte dell'area in oggetto a coltivazione agricola, promuovendone in maniera sostenibile la produzione, facendola divenire un presidio d'eccellenza si inserisce nella rete "slow food" sia regionale sia nazionale.
The recovery of the quarry is based on a careful and specific remediation plan that will exploit the resources of the area, facilitating the functionality of the ecosystem and appropriate landscaping. The array design looks strongly the existing morphology, fundamental to the introduction of new features. Most of the area is left to agricultural production, promoting a sustainable production, becoming an excellence garrison included in the regional and national network "slow food".
